How RRB NTPC age eligibility works

The Railway NTPC age bar is enforced without exception. Aside from the category relaxations set out above, there is no leeway — miss the window by even a day and you drop out for that cycle.

What settles it is your age on the date the notification specifies — not the day you fill the form or write the exam. That single fixed date is what decides eligibility.

Note: the age bars and rules can change from one notification to the next. Use this calculator for a quick estimate, then confirm your eligibility against the official RRB NTPC notification.
