Age is fixed as on the notification date (which changes every year). To qualify, you need a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university, or an equivalent the Central Government recognises.
How IBPS PO age eligibility works
IBPS enforces the Probationary Officer age bar to the letter. Other than the category relaxations set out above, there is no give — overshoot the window by a single day and you are out for that cycle.
The date that counts is the notification date (which varies year to year), not the day you submit the form or write the exam. Eligibility turns on your age as on that fixed cut-off.
