Frequently asked questions
What is the IBPS PO photo size?
In most cycles you need a recent colour photo, taken within three months, at 200×230 pixels and 20–50 KB in JPG, set against a plain white background.
What is the IBPS PO signature size?
Keep the signature close to 140×60 pixels and 10–20 KB in JPG. Use black or blue ink on white paper — never pencil.
Is the IBPS Clerk photo size the same as IBPS PO?
It is. The same photo and signature rules run right across the IBPS CRP exams — PO, Clerk, SO and RRB. As they can be revised, confirm from the live notification.
Can I use the same photo for IBPS PO and SBI PO?
Reuse it only if it clears both specifications. The pixel and KB figures are usually close yet not always the same, so it is safest to resize separately for each portal.
What if my IBPS photo upload fails?
An oversized file or the wrong format triggers an error on the portal. Fix it to 200×230 px and under 50 KB with the tool, then upload once more.
Does IBPS accept coloured backgrounds for photos?
It does not. The passport-style photo must sit on a plain white or off-white background.
