Three dimensions
The MPI uses three dimensions — health, education and standard of living — captured through indicators like nutrition, schooling, sanitation, drinking water and assets.
India's version
NITI Aayog also produces a National MPI for India, which has shown a significant fall in multidimensional poverty.
