Jurisdiction
The Lokpal's jurisdiction extends to the Prime Minister (with safeguards), ministers, Members of Parliament and central government employees, in relation to corruption allegations.
Lokayuktas
States are required to set up Lokayuktas to perform a similar ombudsman role at the state level.
