Statement I: \({({\mathrm{CH}}_{3})}_{3}\overset{⊕}{\mathrm{C}}\) is more stable than \(\mathrm{C}{\mathrm{H}}_{3}\overset{⊕}{\mathrm{C}}\) as nine hyperconjugation interactions are possible in \({({\mathrm{CH}}_{3})}_{3}\overset{⊕}{\mathrm{C}}\).

Statement II: \(\overset{⊕}{{\mathrm{CH}}_{3}}\) is less stable than \({({\mathrm{CH}}_{3})}_{3}\overset{⊕}{\mathrm{C}}\) as only three hyperconjugation interactions are possible in \(\overset{⊕}{{\mathrm{CH}}_{3}}\).
